Is Some Heat Normal?

Yes — all electric clippers generate heat during operation. The Peanut’s motor drives the blade at high speed, which creates friction. Some warmth after 10–15 minutes of use is completely normal.

Cause #1: Dry Blade (Most Common)

Without oil, metal rubs against metal at thousands of strokes per minute. Friction = heat. This is the cause in the majority of overheating complaints.

Fix:

1. Power off and let cool for 2 minutes
2. Apply 3–4 drops of Wahl blade oil across the top of the blade teeth
3. Power on and run for 20 seconds to distribute
4. Resume cutting
